Welcome Baby Addy
There is nothing more exciting then the arrival of a new baby. And when that arrival is of a good friend of yours, how can you not be ridiculously excited!!!
The first and only beautiful little girl for this fabulous couple. Lots of pink and cheetah print all over.
Instead of your traditional cupcake display I thought a mini cupcake bouquet was the way to go. But first we have to create a fancy base...
Then add in those cupcakes!! Which was actually quite a bit more difficult than I had imagined it would be. The trick was to tilt those toothpicks up just enough. Had a little itty-bitty incident when the frosting started to slide off the cupcakes. Talk about panic!
Although the camera phone pictures give you the idea of the setup, check out this incredible shot! More to come...
Kitchen Business
Every once in a while I take a look around and for one realize how tiny my kitchen is, but most importantly how much fun I am having! In those moments I feel like taking a memory :D
Fall Fun
Some fall fun cupcakes that I made for work a few weeks ago. Chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate frosting and a piped chocolate pumpkin.
(in case anyone wants to pipe melted chocolate, let me be the first to tell you that it is super fun and taxing all at the same time. Be careful when you pull those puppies out of the fridge! Your body heat will immediately get them hot and bothered so be quick!!)
Football season is among us!!
Turkey Day - Gobble! Gobble!
Having a little bit of fun at Thanksgiving - some a little more geared towards the kiddies and some more adult type ones.
(the only thing adult about them is the design really lol)
Both are a pumpkin spice cupcake with cream cheese frosting. YUM!!
Spoooooky Treats
A few fun treats I did for this spooktacular season :)
Just a few Halloween treats from last year... Wonder what is in store for this year!

Some More Just For Fun :)
I occasionally spoil the people I work with. There are many others that I should have been taking pictures of but I completely spaced! Here are some that I did happen to capture.
Abajian Wedding
Providing cupcakes for a wedding is extremely stressful. ESPECIALLY when the bride and groom are your friends! But of course I said I do!! Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, with vanilla and chocolate frosting, respectively. If I remember correctly there were about 400 total. On top of making the cupcakes, I was also a bridesmaid - can you calculate how much slept I got in a very short amount of time??
One of the things I really enjoy about this cupcakes in particular are the monograms. At the time I thought I was going to die doing all 400 by hand. In the end I discovered that I can do just about anything :)
Congratulations Matt and Megan Abajian!!
Ooo-La-La
Who doesn't love a good corset??!!! Especially at a bridal shower. Here are some fun black, hot pink and white little ditties. Sure to make you say ooo-la-la!
Baby Shower #1
A very simple, yet classy baby shower decoration for a friend. Really working on perfecting my skills with this one.
More and More Birthdays!
Happy Birthday Melanie! This was a fondant creation after quite a few years of not having done it. Kind of like riding a bike really :P
This was definitely the big mama of birthday cakes for me! Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and LOTS of fondant work. A super fun and fabulous 50th birthday party.

It's only fair that a fun and flirty birthday cake be made for my other sister, since the baby got one. It's even more fun when the whole thing is a secret and all the baking and decorating happens at your grandma's so she is TRULY surprised.
Love her face!
It's a NASCAR Kind of Father's Day
My dad is a HUGE NASCAR fan, Jeff Gordon in particular. I thought it would be nice to work that into his Father's day cake a few years ago. It worked out pretty well! I learned a lesson about making the mold work for me rather than against, so don't pay too much attention to the tires and that there are only half of each of them :P
