Fondant has been quite the experience! After watching a million cake shows, I decided it was something I could teach myself, and I did. But not without many trials and a few breakdowns.
(yes I did actually cry, and no it is not surprising to anyone that knows me!)

Here are a few of those trials... And of course I didn't start with simple and small! I jumped feet first into a huge disco themed birthday party!
Time to boogey around that dance floor all!!

These two were just for fun and to keep practicing that rolling and covering of the fondant. Amazing how something so small can take so much work. PHEW!
I think these two may be some of my favorites! The present cake was for one of my BFF's mom's birthday. First time (and the only time now that I think about it) that I have done one like this. That bow was so much fun to make. It's incredible how you can manipulate fondant to create such awesome items!
Just fun and girly. And who doesn't love polka dots!
Can't forget about this little fun item! All of the pictures on here are from years ago, so this was one of my "getting back into it" fondant cakes. Not too shabby for the first time in, oh you know, about 3 years!!
